Refund Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how MyChessBot, LLC (“MyChessBot”) handles payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. It is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service(see “Cancellation and refunds”), which is the authoritative agreement. Where this page and the Terms differ, the Terms govern.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (for example monthly or annually) and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Applicable taxes may be added.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep paid access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; access is not cut off immediately, and partial billing periods are not pro-rated.
Refunds
Except where required by law, payments and purchases of digital goods are non-refundable, and we do not pro-rate partial billing periods. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer (for example, mandatory withdrawal/“cooling-off” rights in some jurisdictions). If a mandatory right applies to you, we will honor it.
If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or believe a charge is otherwise incorrect, contact us and we will investigate and make it right where a refund is due.
Virtual items and cosmetics
Virtual items such as board themes and piece sets are licensed for use within the Service, not sold, and are non-refundable once granted, except where required by law. See the Terms of Service for details.
Paid beta features
Some features may be offered as clearly-labeled beta or experimental features. If a beta feature is included in a paid plan and we materially modify or withdraw it, you may cancel as described in our Terms of Service.
